Roles & Responsibilities:
- Define, own, and govern the end-to-end Environment Management strategy across Development, Test, Staging, and Production environments.
- Coordinate and manage multiple environments supporting parallel application development and continuous release cycles.
- Integrate environment management with DevOps pipelines, CI/CD tools, and automated deployment frameworks.
- Ensure availability, stability, and performance of environments across Java, .NET, and mixed-technology platforms.
- Work closely with DevOps and Infrastructure teams to enable automated environment provisioning, configuration, and teardown.
- Collaborate with IT, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to define cloud adoption and containerization roadmaps (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Implement predictive demand planning and capacity management to prevent environment-related project delays.
- Act as the single point of contact for Project Managers, Development, QA, Operations, and Information Security teams for all environment needs.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks impacting environment readiness and release schedules.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime, improve environment stability, and optimize operational costs.
- Prepare and present environment health, utilization, risk, and performance reports to senior leadership.
- Ensure adherence to security, compliance, and change management standards across all environments.
- Lead and mentor the Logistics and Commissioning team, focusing on performance management, upskilling, and career development.
Experience Required:
- 8 - 12 years of overall experience in Environment Management, DevOps, Release Engineering, or Infrastructure Operations roles.
- Strong hands-on experience managing Staging and Production environments in large, complex enterprise ecosystems.
- Proven expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and environment automation tools.
- Experience supporting continuous release schedules across multiple application teams and platforms.
- Solid understanding of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS preferred) as well as on-prem / bare-metal environments.
- Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in capacity planning, demand forecasting, and environment optimization.
- Strong stakeholder management experience, working with project managers, developers, testers, operations, and senior engineering leaders.
- Ability to manage risks, dependencies, and cross-team coordination in fast-paced delivery environments.
- Experience leading teams, including resource planning, performance management, and skill development.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to present to leadership.
