Role OverviewThe Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) will act as the owner-operator of YourGreeners, responsible for independently running, scaling, and innovating the business. This role includes end-to-end ownership of operations, product development, and launching new services, while the founder focuses on other ventures.
Core Responsibilities1. Business Ownership & Strategy- Take complete ownership of YourGreeners execution and growth
- Translate founder vision into actionable business strategy
- Define and execute 6-, 12-, and 24-month roadmaps
- Identify new revenue streams and expansion opportunities
2. Product Development & Innovation- Own the full product and service innovation lifecycle
- Identify market gaps and customer pain points
- Conceptualize, validate, and prioritize new products/services
- Lead MVP development and rapid iteration cycles
- Convert one-off offerings into scalable, repeatable products
3. New Service Launch & Go-to-Market- Design and package new services (pricing, scope, SLAs)
- Independently plan and execute product/service launches
- Define GTM strategy: target customers, channels, positioning
- Coordinate marketing, sales enablement, and onboarding
- Measure adoption, revenue impact, and product-market fit
4. Operations & Execution- Run day-to-day operations with minimal founder involvement
- Build and optimize SOPs, workflows, and execution systems
- Ensure timely delivery, quality control, and cost efficiency
- Maintain financial discipline on budgets and margins
5. Team & Ecosystem Management- Build and manage internal teams, freelancers, and vendors
- Hire execution-focused roles as needed
- Drive accountability, ownership, and performance culture
- Manage partners and external collaborators
6. Founder & Stakeholder Alignment- Act as the single point of ownership for the business
- Share structured weekly/monthly updates with the founder
- Escalate only strategic decisions or high-risk initiatives
- Prepare dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports
Decision-Making Authority- Product and service launches
- Pricing, GTM experiments, and partnerships
- Hiring, vendors, and tools (within agreed framework)
- Operational and execution decisions
(Founder alignment required only for major strategic pivots or capital-intensive decisions)
Success Metrics (KPIs)- Revenue growth and profitability
- Number and success of new products/services launched
- Time-to-market and scalability
- Customer acquisition, retention, and satisfaction
- Reduction in founder dependency
Ideal Candidate Profile- Founder / co-founder or early-stage operator mindset
- Strong execution bias with product-thinking ability
- Experience launching and scaling products or services
- Comfortable operating independently with accountability
- Sustainability, climate, agritech, or marketplace exposure is a plus
