Job Summary:
As an Enterprise Technology Architect, you will be responsible for architecting and delivering complex, end-to-end IT solutions that drive business value across the enterprise. You will utilize your expertise in Oracle CC&B Technical Architecture and industry knowledge to design and implement innovative technology solutions. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, evaluating emerging technologies, and providing technical leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture and Design:
- Lead the development and implementation of IT strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements.
- Design innovative, enterprise-level IT solutions leveraging Oracle CC&B Technical Architecture, cloud technologies, and system integration best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive technology solutions that enhance products, services, and experiences.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and provide recommendations for their adoption, ensuring they align with the company's IT strategy and enhance enterprise capabilities.
- Ensure system integration and data migration are effectively planned and executed across the enterprise, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Act as an SME (Subject Matter Expert), providing deep technical knowledge and leadership to ensure the successful design, implementation, and scaling of IT solutions.
- Collaborate and manage the team to ensure they perform optimally and provide guidance on architectural decisions, design patterns, and technical execution.
- Take responsibility for team decisions and ensure alignment with project objectives, timelines, and quality standards.
- Contribute to key decisions related to technology selection, implementation approaches, and resource allocation, ensuring the success of complex IT projects.
Technical Guidance and Expertise:
- Provide ongoing technical guidance to project teams, ensuring that the solution design aligns with best practices, performance standards, and long-term sustainability.
- Ensure adherence to IT architecture principles, ensuring scalability, flexibility, and security across all systems.
- Review and recommend improvements in technology infrastructure to drive enhanced system performance, reduce costs, and improve reliability.
- Drive continuous learning and knowledge sharing across teams to foster innovation and technical excellence.
Professional & Technical Skills:
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Oracle CC&B (Customer Care and Billing) Technical Architecture with hands-on experience in implementing and integrating Oracle utilities solutions.
- Strong understanding of IT architecture principles, with the ability to design and architect end-to-end IT solutions.
- Extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level IT solutions across various industries.
- Hands-on experience with system integration and data migration between on-premise systems and cloud technologies.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, their integration with on-premise systems, and how to leverage cloud architectures for scalability and flexibility.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to navigate complex technical challenges.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Oracle Utilities products beyond CC&B, including Oracle Meter Data Management (MDM) and Oracle Work and Asset Management (WAM).
- Experience with cloud-based enterprise solutions and familiarity with cloud integration platforms.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks and industry best practices for scalable IT solutions.
