Role Overview
We are looking for a Market Research Sales Manager to drive growth for our Primary Research services, including qualitative and quantitative research solutions. This role focuses on selling research services to consulting firms, market research companies, and enterprise organizations across India, US and EU that require reliable insights for strategic decision-making.
The ideal candidate will identify client needs and position our primary research capabilities, AI-powered insights, and custom data dashboards to help organizations better understand markets, customers, and competitors. The role requires a consultative sales approach, working closely with strategy, insights, and research teams within client organizations to deliver high-quality data and actionable intelligence.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities for primary market research services across consulting firms, market research agencies, and enterprise clients.
- Sell qualitative research solutions such as expert interviews, focus groups, in-depth interviews (IDIs), and discussion-based insights.
- Drive sales for quantitative research projects including surveys, large-scale data collection, and statistical market analysis.
- Build relationships with strategy teams, research heads, insights leaders, and consultants within client organizations.
- Understand client research objectives and recommend tailored research methodologies and project approaches.
- Present the value of AI-powered insights, automated research summaries, and custom dashboards that enhance data interpretation and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal research and operations teams to ensure successful project execution and client satisfaction.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle including prospecting, pitching, proposal creation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Track industry trends and client needs across consulting, market research, and enterprise sectors.
- Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the expansion of the company's primary research portfolio.
Required Skills & Experience
- 712 years of experience in market research sales, insights sales, consulting services sales, or data solutions sales.
- Proven track record of New logo acquisition and consistent achievement of enterprise revenue targets.
- Strong understanding of primary research methodologies (qualitative and quantitative).
- Experience selling services to consulting firms, market research agencies, or enterprise clients.
- Ability to communicate the value of data-driven insights and research-led decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales pipeline management.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with global research projects or expert network services.
- Familiarity with data visualization or dashboard tools.
- Exposure to AI-enabled research tools or analytics platforms.
