Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Tester
The Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Tester is responsible for validating CRM solutions to ensure they meet business requirements, quality standards, and user expectations. The role involves functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing across Dynamics 365 CRM modules and Power Platform components.
Analyze business and functional requirements for Dynamics 365 CRM
Design and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts
Perform functional, system, integration, and regression testing
Validate CRM entities, forms, views, dashboards, and business rules
Test Dynamics 365 modules:
Sales
Customer Service
Marketing
Field Service
Validate workflows, plugins, Power Automate flows, and customizations
Test Power Apps and Dataverse configurations
Perform data migration testing and data validation
Log, track, and retest defects using tools like Azure DevOps, JIRA, or ALM
Collaborate with developers and business analysts for defect resolution
Participate in defect triage and root cause analysis
Validate integrations with ERP, third-party systems, APIs, and Azure services
Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by assisting business users
Prepare test reports and provide test status updates
Execute and maintain automated test scripts
Support regression automation using tools like:
EasyRepro
Selenium / Playwright
Power Apps Test Studio
Hands-on experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM testing
Strong understanding of CRM components:
Entities, relationships, forms, views
Security roles and access controls
Experience with test management and defect tracking tools
Basic knowledge of SQL / FetchXML for data validation
3-7+ years of software testing experience
Strong knowledge of STLC, SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience in manual testing automation exposure is a plus
Good communication and documentation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and in teams
Attention to detail and quality mindset
