Job Description- Enterprise Architect
Position Summary
As an Adobe Enterprise Architect, you will define and deliver enterprise scale digital
experience architectures that leverage Adobe Experience Cloud, AI/ML capabilities, and
modern cloud platforms. You will partner with senior business and technology leaders to
shape strategy, architecture roadmaps, and operating models that drive measurable customer
and business outcomes.
You will combine deep enterprise architecture expertise with AI, data, and cloud-native
experience to design future-ready solutions: from customer data foundations and decisioning
to personalized, omnichannel experiences. As a trusted advisor, you will guide clients through
digital, data, and AI transformation, ensuring alignment between business goals, technology
investments, and delivery teams.
Success in this role is measured by customer value and adoption, quality and feasibility of
architectures, clarity of roadmaps, impact on KPIs, and depth of trusted relationships rather
than billable hours alone.

Adobe's Enterprise Architecture team is a dynamic group of senior consultants who:
- Partner with executives to define digital, data, and AI strategies.
- Design integrated architectures that connect content, data, insights, and activation.
- Help clients adopt cloud-native, API-first, and event-driven patterns on platforms such
as Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Experience Cloud solutions, and public cloud
providers.
As an Enterprise Architect, you will use your knowledge of digital marketing technology,
AI/ML capabilities, and enterprise architecture to:
- Create strategic roadmaps for digital experience and AI innovation.
- Lead clients as a subject matter expert.
- Serve as a trusted advisor across business, data, and technology stakeholders.
What you'll Do
- Shape digital, data, and AI strategy
- Partner with executive and senior client stakeholders to define digital experience,
customer data, and AI/ML goals.
- Translate business vision into actionable multi-year architecture roadmaps
encompassing Adobe solutions, data/ML platforms, and cloud services.
- Identify key business drivers, KPIs, and value hypotheses to prioritize use cases
(e.g., personalization, journey orchestration, next-best action, marketing
optimization).
- Design enterprise and solution architectures
- Design end-to-end architectures across Adobe Experience Cloud and client
ecosystems.
- Define AI- and data-centric architectures, including: Customer data platforms,
identity, and profile management.
- Data ingestion, quality, governance, and activation patterns. Recommend futurestate
technology architectures using cloud-native principles (API-first,
microservices, event-driven, serverless) across Azure, AWS, and/or other public
clouds.
- Define reference architectures and patterns for secure, scalable cloud
deployments. Zero-trust, identity, and access management. Observability and
reliability.
- Drive alignment and governance
- Ensure alignment between business strategies, enterprise architecture, and
delivery teams across marketing, product, data, and IT.
- Define governance, operating models, and ways of working (e.g., architecture
review processes, decision forums, standards) to support sustainable adoption of
Adobe capabilities.
- Act as a liaison between Adobe teams, client business owners, IT, data/analytics,
and external partners for the full lifecycle of the engagement.
- Communicate and evangelize
- Communicate architecture options, trade-offs, and recommendations to C-level
and senior leadership using clear narratives, visuals, and value framing.
- Lead workshops, visioning sessions, and roadmap presentations that evangelize
AI and data driven digital experiences.
- Advocate for the Enterprise Architecture function and your work within the larger
Adobe Consulting organization and with clients.
- Contribute to practice growth
- Capture and codify reusable assets (reference architectures, patterns, templates,
accelerators).
- Mentor other architects and consultants on enterprise, AI, and cloud architecture
best practices.
- Support pre-sales activities (e.g., solutioning, estimations, proposals, executive
presentations) to position Adobe and EA services.

What you need to succeed
- proven record to develop enterprise architecture models.
- Validated experience with architecture frameworks such as API, SOA, and TOGAF
- Understanding & experience with public cloud architecture and services (Microsoft
Azure / Amazon AWS).
- Experience designing or integrating AI-powered customer experiences, including
working with LLM-based services and understanding core concepts such as prompt
design, RAG, and model evaluation strategies.
- Ability to collaborate with data/ML teams to define AI solution patterns and
guardrails, including basic awareness of agentic workflows and tool using agents, and
how they impact reliability, observability, and governance in enterprise environments.
- Experience from working with the Adobe Experience Cloud or at least one of its
solutions & Previous experience with other Digital Marketing platforms. (Good to
have).
- Experience communicating across senior leadership.
- Ability to intake client business vision and translate to technical solution and
architecture requirements.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills communicating deliverables, sharing
information, and leading meetings.
- Ability to communicate and lead execution of architecture vision across multifunctional
technical and strategy teams.
- Experience working with software engineers, data architects, application developers &
data scientists to plan out end-to-end solutions
- Understanding the solutions and systems that support it.
- Ability to communicate technical and business strategy optimally to audiences of
varying levels of experience, background, and seniority.
- Ability to travel a minimum of up to 50%.
