Company Overview:

AmarVed foundation is a well-managed Nonprofit organization, located in Sohna (Gurgaon). The foundation aims to provide quality education for the science base entrance exams like JEE Advance, Mains, NEET, CUET etc. We are dedicated to empowering underprivileged children through education.

 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionateEnglish Teacher to teach Classes 8, 9 and 10 students from underprivileged backgrounds. The role goes beyond classroom teaching and includes administrative responsibilities and student care.

 

Candidate should be ready to move or able to commute toSohna (Gurgaon).

Educational Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in English / Education or a related field.

B.Ed. preferred (but not mandatory if teaching experience is strong).

Experience & Skills:

Minimum 1-year experience of teaching English (school or coaching institute).

Strong command of spoken and written English.

Ability to explain concepts clearly to first-generation learners (Class 8,9,10).

Proficiency in technology (Able to work on MS word, Excel, Sheet etc. tools)

Patient, empathetic, and disciplined approach to teaching.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Teach English Language and Literature with result-oriented approach.

Ensure conceptual clarity in grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, writing skills, and literature analysis.

Improve students spoken English, confidence, and communication skills.

Encourage critical thinking, reading habits, and creative expression.

Support overall personality development and discipline through language learning.

Conduct regular tests, worksheets, and mock exams.

Evaluate answer sheets and provide constructive, individualized feedback.

Take responsibility for basic administrative tasks like absentee calling (not regular), students registration, indiscipline reporting if any, engaging with parents.

Actively mentor and guide girl students in emotional well-being and ensure a supportive environment.

Address student concerns sensitively.

Coordinate with institute management regarding attendance, performance, and student conduct.
