Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an English Teacher at St. Francis School, located in Bengaluru South, Koramangala. The English Teacher will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging lesson plans, evaluating and grading students work, and preparing students for academic assessments. The role entails fostering critical thinking, language comprehension, and communication skills in students through interactive teaching methodologies and a student-centered approach. Participation in school events, parent-teacher interactions, and other co-curricular and extracurricular activities is also required to support students overall development.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in teaching English, including grammar, creative writing, and literature
• Strong classroom management, lesson planning, and student engagement skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities in English
• Ability to inspire critical thinking, creativity, and analytical writing in students
• Commitment to fostering inclusive and respectful learning environments
• Relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor's or Master's degree in English or Education, along with a recognized teaching certification
• Prior teaching experience in ICSE/ISC curriculum or equivalent education systems is preferred
