We are looking for a passionate and experienced Primary English Teacher to join our academic team.
The ideal candidate should have experience teaching Cambridge and/or IB (International Baccalaureate) curriculum, with a strong focus on developing students reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills through engaging, inquiry-based learning methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with Cambridge and/or IB curriculum frameworks
- Develop students skills in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and communication
- Encourage creative expression through storytelling, literature, and writing activities
- Implement inquiry-based and student-centered teaching strategies
- Assess student progress using formative and summative assessments
- Provide constructive feedback and support student development
- Maintain effective communication with parents and school leadership
- Participate in curriculum planning, school events, and professional development
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification
- Minimum 23 years of experience teaching Cambridge and/or IB Primary English
- Strong understanding of international curriculum standards
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills
- Passion for teaching language and literature to young learners
