Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Classroom Management
- Deliver engaging and effective English language and literature lessons as per the curriculum.
- Teach grammar, writing skills, comprehension, and literature analysis.
- Encourage critical thinking, communication skills, and creative writing among students.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive classroom learning environment.
Academic Planning
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, and study materials.
- Conduct regular assessments, assignments, and examinations.
- Support students in board exam preparation (CBSE/ICSE/State Board as applicable).
- Track student progress and provide academic feedback to parents and school management.
Student Development
- Guide students for debates, speeches, creative writing, and literary activities.
- Support students in Olympiads and competitive academic events.
- Encourage participation in co-curricular and cultural activities.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain student records, attendance, and academic reports.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
- Collaborate with other teachers for curriculum development and school programs.
Eligibility Criteria
For TGT English
- Bachelor's Degree in English
- B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- 25 years of teaching experience preferred
For PGT English
- Master's Degree (M.A. English)
- B.Ed. (Mandatory)
- 37 years of teaching experience preferred
- Experience teaching senior secondary classes and board exam preparation
