Role Description

This is a full-time on-site position at National Centre for Excellence, located in Bengaluru, for an English Teacher (PRT) role. The English Teacher will design and deliver engaging lessons suited to primary school students. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, conducting assessments, facilitating interactive learning, and fostering critical thinking. Contributing to co-curricular activities and maintaining effective communication with parents regarding students progress will also be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in English Language Teaching and Curriculum Planning
• Strong Communication, Classroom Management, and Interpersonal Skills
• Ability to develop effective Lesson Plans and conduct Assessments
• Experience in using Creative and Interactive Teaching Techniques
• Passion for teaching, patience with young learners, and the ability to create a positive classroom environment
• A Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field; B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred
• Prior teaching experience at the primary school level is an added advantage
