English Language Teacher

Qualifications :-

Master's or Bachelor's degree in English with minimum 23 years of teaching experience in Cambridge or NIOS or ICSE boards.

Knowledge and understanding of Cambridge International Curriculum will be an added advantage.

Experience teaching teenagers using experiential and contextual approaches.

Ability to review textbooks and reference books to work with relevant materials

Open-mindedness, empathy, reflectiveness, and enthusiasm for child-centered, holistic education.

Responsiblities :-

1. Deliver engaging, activity-based and contemplative English lessons
2. Integrate themes relevant to adolescent life through literature and writing.
3. Teach relevant grammar skills and pragmatic skills for good writing to emerge in students seeing them as budding authors, poets, publishers and editors.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to connect classroom learning with the school's integrated approach, holistic and spiritual education vision.
5. Work with other teachers to design a curriculum that inspires students to understand and experience integrated learning.
6. Track individual student progress and recommend targeted interventions when required.
7. Provide individualized academic and emotional guidance.
