The Engineering Services Manager is a critical leadership position responsible for directing all engineering functions within our rubber processing operations. This role focuses heavily on maintenance strategy, asset reliability, and operational infrastructure. We are seeking a seasoned professional with a robust background in maintenance management and facility optimization to lead our technical teams, drive continuous improvement, and ensure the seamless delivery of engineering services that align with our production goals.

Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Strategy & Execution
- Maintenance Oversight: Direct the planning, execution, and optimization of all maintenance programs, including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance for plant equipment and infrastructure.
- Operational Excellence: Implement industry best practices to maximize equipment uptime, optimize maintenance schedules, and ensure strict compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Problem Solving: Provide high-level technical expertise to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal production downtime.
Leadership & Project Management
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of technical staff. Foster a culture of accountability by setting clear performance benchmarks and identifying training opportunities in rubber processing technologies.
- Project Leadership: Oversee engineering projects focused on equipment upgrades, installations, and facility improvements. Manage the full project lifecyclefrom scope definition and resource allocation to budget adherence and quality control.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management: Collaborate with cross-functional leads (Production, Quality, Supply Chain) to align maintenance windows with business priorities. Manage external vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective procurement of spare parts and specialized services.
Financial & Operational Stewardship
- Budgetary Control: Develop and manage the engineering department's CAPEX and OPEX budgets. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising reliability or safety.
- Continuous Improvement: Monitor industry trends to integrate advanced technologies that enhance process reliability. Drive a Continuous Improvement mindset focused on long-term asset lifecycle management.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain rigorous documentation of maintenance logs, project milestones, and SOPs. Deliver data-driven reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) such as Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a Tier 1 engineering institution.
- Experience: 810 years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on maintenance management.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), equipment diagnostic tools, and industrial safety standards.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills; ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Tools: Proficient in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Project Management software, and relevant engineering design tools.
