Job Summary

The role covers the complete software lifecycle, from design and coding to rigorous testing and cloud/mobile deployment. Specialized focus areas ensure high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions:

• Integrated Engineers: Develop systems (design, code, test, deploy) and ensure products meet quality standards through application audits and testing.
• Cloud Development: Designs, develops, and troubleshoots applications across the complete cloud stack (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), managing integration and cloud storage services.
• Mobile Development: Plans, designs, develops, and tests applications for proprietary mobile platforms (Android, iOS), focusing on cross-platform tools and mobile security.

Key Skills

• Integrated Engineering: Software design and development, in-depth knowledge of automated testing tools, and traditional quality assurance.
• Cloud Development: Knowledge of cloud stacks (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS), cloud platforms (AWS/EC2, Azure, Google App Engine, Salesforce.com), cloud storage services (EBS, S3, EFS), and API/integration testing.
• Mobile Development: Mobile platform knowledge (Android/iOS SDK), cross-platform development tools, mobile security, and integrated development platforms (Xamarin, Kony, Appcelerator, EMM/MDM).

Role Overview

As an Engineering Manager (M3) for the 10-4 App, you will lead a global team of integrated engineers to deliver high-quality logistics solutions. You are responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of our software systems, from initial design through cloud deployment and mobile optimization. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and business strategy, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a regional/global team of engineers. Manage performance, career development, and resource allocation.

Strategic Oversight: Apply mastery of cloud stacks (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS) and mobile platforms to guide architectural decisions.

Cloud Operations: Oversee the deployment and maintenance of applications on AWS/Azure, ensuring deep integration with storage services like S3, EBS, and EFS.

Mobile Excellence: Drive the development of high-performance Android and iOS applications, ensuring seamless integration with back-end APIs and rigorous security standards.

Quality & Documentation: Establish automated testing frameworks and audit processes to ensure products meet defined quality standards and are well-documented for future scalability.

Qualifications :

• Experience: 7–10 years of industry experience in software/product development Backend Java or Fullstack.
• Management: 3+ years of direct people management or supervisory experience.

Technical Breadth: Advanced knowledge of cross-platform tools (Xamarin, SDKs), API integration, and cloud infrastructure.
