Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our development teams, driving the creation of innovative software solutions. This role requires a strong technical background combined with exceptional leadership skills to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality products.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
  • Oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.
  • Engage in Action Planning to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Guide Application Development efforts, including the design, coding, testing, and deployment of software solutions.
  • Conduct thorough Assessment of team performance, project progress, and software quality, implementing improvements as needed.
  • Provide technical expertise in areas such as Compiling and Decompiling Code, Computer System Configuration, and Program Installation.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in IT Testing, including unit, integration, and system testing.
  • Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders to Document and Model User Requirements, translating them into technical specifications.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of intuitive Graphical User Interfaces (GUI) and enhance overall User Experience (UX) Design.
  • Manage and optimize Information Technology (IT) Support processes for developed applications.
  • Supervise and guide Portal Server Configuration and Versioning control for software releases.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in WAN Switching and Firmware Configuration.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within software engineering or application development.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in various programming languages and development tools, with experience in Compiling and Decompiling Code.
  • Expertise in Computer System Configuration, Program Installation, and Versioning control.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive IT Testing and quality assurance.
  • Solid understanding of Digital Literacy concepts and their application in software development.
  • Experience in documenting and modeling user requirements, ensuring clear communication between technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong knowledge of Graphical User Interface (GUI) design principles and User Experience (UX) Design best practices.
  • Familiarity with Portal Server Configuration and management.
  • Experience with WAN Switching and Firmware Configuration is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
