We are looking for an experienced Principal AI Engineer who can lead the architecture, engineering execution, and scaling of AI-native systems while mentoring engineering teams and driving technical excellence across projects.

This role goes beyond technical implementation — we are looking for someone who can own engineering direction, influence architecture decisions, lead teams, and build scalable AI platforms that power real-world enterprise applications.

Key Skillsets

Strong expertise in Python, Django/Flask/FastAPI, REST APIs, WebSockets, distributed systems, and microservices architecture along with hands-on experience in cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, and scalable deployment practices.

Good understanding of AI-native application development including LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, AI agents, vector databases, prompt engineering, AI observability, and production-grade AI infrastructure.

Strong experience with databases and caching systems including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis along with expertise in secure coding practices, system design, backend scalability, and engineering best practices.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, development, and scaling of AI-native applications, backend platforms, and enterprise-grade AI systems.
• Design secure, scalable, and production-ready systems integrating LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector databases, and intelligent workflows.
• Drive engineering excellence through architecture reviews, coding standards, technical mentorship, and best practices.
• Mentor and guide senior engineers and tech leads while contributing as a hands-on technical leader across projects.
• Collaborate with AI/ML, product, design, and business teams to translate complex requirements into scalable engineering solutions.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery, deployment, reliability, observability, and optimization of AI-powered platforms.
• Contribute to engineering strategy, platform modernization, AI infrastructure improvements, and long-term technical direction.
• Ensure high standards of security, performance, scalability, and operational efficiency across systems and services.
• Stay updated with emerging AI technologies, backend frameworks, cloud advancements, and engineering trends to drive innovation within the organization.
