Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager with a strong product engineering mindset and proven technology leadership to build and scale our AI-driven platform. You will lead high-performing teams, drive architecture decisions, and play a key role in shaping Droidal's agentic AI ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers building scalable, enterprise-grade AI platforms
- Drive end-to-end product engineering, from design to deployment
- Architect and build agentic AI systems leveraging LLMs
- Define and implement microservices, event-driven architectures, and APIs
- Build and optimize AI orchestration layers, prompt frameworks, and model integrations
- Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of systems
- Work closely with product, delivery, and leadership teams to align engineering with business goals
- Establish best practices for code quality, CI/CD, and DevOps
- Implement cost controls, monitoring, and observability for AI systems
- Drive innovation in Voice AI, automation, and enterprise integrations
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering, with 2–4 years in a leadership role
- Strong product engineering background in building scalable SaaS platforms
Deep expertise in:
- Backend systems (Node.js / Python / Java)
- Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure)
- Microservices and distributed systems
Hands-on experience with:
- Product building and engineering
- AI/ML systems and LLMs (OpenAI, Gemini, etc.)
- Prompt engineering and model orchestration
- Vector databases and RAG architectures
Experience building or contributing to:
- Agentic platforms / AI agents / workflow automation systems
- Real-time systems (APIs, streaming, event-driven architectures)
Strong understanding of:
- System design, scalability, and performance optimization
- Security, compliance, and data privacy
Experience with DevOps:
- CI/CD pipelines
- Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Monitoring tools
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare or revenue cycle management (RCM)
- Exposure to Voice AI / speech systems (ASR, TTS)
- Prior experience in high-growth environments
