You will join a well-funded Series B travel-tech company at an inflection point.
You will own a business-critical engineering charter with direct revenue impact.

Job Description

Lead the supply-side backend engineering charter. Build and scale systems powering supplier integrations, inventory, pricing, availability, and booking reliability.
Drive architecture, technical strategy, and execution for high-scale distributed systems with direct business impact.
Hire, mentor and grow high-performing engineering teams while fostering strong engineering culture and ownership.
Partner closely with Product, Data, and Business teams to improve marketplace efficiency, scalability, and supplier experience.

The Successful Applicant

8-10 years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role managing engineering teams.
Strong system design and architecture expertise with deep hands-on experience in backend (and/or full-stack) development for scalable applications.
Proven track record of building and operating distributed systems, micro-services architectures, and high-performance backend platforms.
Solid experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Ability to connect engineering execution with product and business outcomes, ensuring technical decisions drive measurable impact.
Strong leadership and communication skills with experience in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring engineers in a high-performance culture.
Prior experience in consumer-tech or marketplace-driven products is highly valued, especially in fast-paced, high-scale environments.
