The Mission
At Qapita, we are digitizing equity management for the startup ecosystem. We are now expanding our platform to serve Listed Companies, requiring a massive leap in scalability, precision, and reliability.
We are looking for a Player-Coach Engineering Manager to lead a high-performance squad, drive architectural decisions, and build systems that handle billions in equity value.
The Challenge
You won't just be managing Jira tickets. You will be:
- Architecting for Scale: Designing systems using DDD, CQRS, and Event Sourcing to handle high-load scenarios for publicly traded entities
- Leading Delivery: Managing Sprints and Scrum for a team of 58 engineers, balancing product features with customer-specific requirements
- Mentoring Talent: enforcing code quality, conducting reviews, and growing your team from coders to engineers
Our Tech Stack
- Backend: C#, ASP.NET Core, EventStore, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
- Cloud & Ops: AWS (EKS, SQS, S3), Docker, Kubernetes.
- Architecture: Domain-Driven Design (DDD), CQRS, Clean Architecture.
- Frontend: React, TypeScript.
Who You Are
- Experience: 8+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in people management
- Technical Depth: You are a hands-on leader. You have deep expertise in .NET/C# and have built scalable SaaS applications on AWS/Azure.
- Architectural Mindset: You understand why we use Event Sourcing and Microservices (and the pain points that come with them).
- Delivery Focused: You have a track record of shipping complex B2B products in an Agile/Scrum environment.
