About the Role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Engineering Manager / Tech Lead to lead a team of engineers and drive technical excellence in product development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day engineering operations, mentoring team members, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality software products.

This role requires a balance of hands-on technical expertise and strong leadership skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of software engineers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Collaborate with Product and Design teams to define technical requirements and architecture.
  • Drive technical decision-making, code reviews, and best practices within the team.
  • Plan and oversee project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables.
  • Ensure software development processes are efficient, repeatable, and scalable.
  • Participate in hands-on coding, system design, and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning within the engineering team.
  • Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
  • Keep abreast of emerging technologies and recommend adoption where beneficial.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 68 years of experience in software development, with 24 years in a leadership or tech lead role.
  • Strong hands-on experience in full-stack development (Node.js, React, Python, Java, or similar).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working in startup or high-growth environments preferred.
Preferred Skills:
  • Exposure to microservices architecture, API design, and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with data-driven products, analytics, or AI/ML integration.
  • Strong understanding of agile methodologies and modern software engineering practices.
