The Data Platform team enables the ingestion, storage, and analysis of data at huge volumes at Mimecast. We're building our services on top of a modern technology stack, allowing internal services and products to easily integrate, and provide valuable insights to Mimecast's customers.

We are looking for
We're looking for a talented Engineering Manager to join our team. As an Engineering Manager in the Data Platform team, you'll be working with Product Management, Architecture, Engineers, and QE to help deliver the next generation of Mimecast products.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience forming and scaling high-performant teams, ensuring individuals are given the support needed to grow and advance their careers. As an Engineering Manager, you would be responsible for helping plan and deliver complex projects with predictability.
Skills/Attributes
- Experience in line-management of senior and principal ICs.
- Experience recruiting, forming, and scaling high-performant teams.
- Excellent verbal and written communications.
- Strong technical background, from previous experience in a Software Engineering role for example.
- Experience working with globally distributed teams, across multiple time zones.
- Comfortable coordinating meetings, technical discussions, providing status updates, and the like appropriately.
