Senior Engineering Manager - Java/J2EE with AWS

Location: SMILES 1, Bengaluru, Bengaluru

Years of Experience: 13-16 Years

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineering Manager with extensive experience in Java/J2EE and AWS to lead our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in framework development and a proven track record of managing complex projects. You will be responsible for driving technical excellence, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, providing guidance and mentorship to foster professional growth.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of software solutions using Java/J2EE and AWS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in software development, including coding standards, testing, and documentation.
  • Drive the development of frameworks and reusable components to enhance productivity and maintainability.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines and quality standards.
  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals and expectations.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team.

Mandatory Skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 13-16 years of experience in software development and engineering management.
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
