Engineering Manager

We are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Manager at Landmark Group.

We are looking for experienced engineering leaders with a strong technical background and proven experience in building and scaling high-performing engineering teams. Candidates from product-based companies are highly preferred.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Provide guidance on developing cloud-native web applications.
2. Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise grade microservices
3. Deliver assigned projects within budgeted time, cost and agreed quality standards in Agile Scrum environment
4. Partner with Product Management, Architects, Operations, other delivery teams and Release Management to ensure effective launch and delivery of projects to satisfy business needs
5. Lead teams to ensure project delivery success
6. Apply best-practices and coding patterns that ensure world-class solutions that are maintainable, modular, and of high code-quality
7. You work with designers, business analysts, and product managers to estimate and plan projects in an Agile environment.
8. Help define Technical Roadmap and own the entire product delivery end to end.
9. Create a culture that insists on meeting expectations and delivering value
10. Drive automated solutions that enable better efficiency and process improvement
11. Grow and manage the skills and talent in the team
12. Manage communication cross-functionally and escalate promptly as issues arise
13. Take responsibility for ensuring customer satisfaction during project delivery
14. Excellent problem-solving skills

You Must Have:

1. Bachelor's degree with 12 – 15 years related experience, of which at least 8+ years in development, 4+ years of Engineering Management role and leading scrum teams.
2. 50% technical and 50% People Management experience.
3. Experience in micro service architecture, domain driven design, and RESTful Services using languages such as Java, Node, or Go
4. Experience working in a distributed/cloud-based environment (e.g. Azure, Amazon, Rackspace, GCP etc.)
5. Exposure to continuous integration, unit testing, static analysis, and automated integration tests. Continuous delivery experience preferred.
6. Experience in eCommerce domain is a plus
7. Strong hands-on knowledge and experience in design and coding
8. Hands on experience in Java, J2ee technologies.
9. Experience with Web applications development using Java and MVC
10. Experience in managing and rolling out React Native, Android and iOS applications.
11. Experience with massive-scale performance and scalability engineering
12. Must have extensive experience managing projects with Agile Scrum methodology
13. Must be confident, highly motivated and passionate about delivery and customer satisfaction
14. Must have strong organization, communication and planning skills

Salary Ranga: 45 to 65 Lakhs CTC
