Role Overview
We are looking for a Tech Team Lead who can take end-to-end ownership of Dentalkart's tech ecosystemincluding our website (React), mobile app (React Native), backend (Node.js + SQL + Django), and AWS infrastructure. This is a hands-on leadership role that involves managing development, mentoring team members, overseeing architecture, and ensuring performance, scalability, and uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of frontend, backend, and mobile developers.
- Oversee development and maintenance of Dentalkart's website and mobile app.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Operations teams to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.
- Own the complete software development lifecyclefrom planning to deployment and post-launch maintenance.
- Ensure high code quality, security, scalability, and performance.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or GitHub Actions.
- Monitor and optimize cloud infrastructure (AWS EC2, S3, RDS, etc.).
- Troubleshoot critical production issues and deploy fixes rapidly.
- Regularly review system architecture and suggest improvements.
- Plan sprints and manage Jira task board for timely delivery.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience in JavaScript, Node.js, React, and React Native.
- Proficiency in SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL) and familiarity with Django (Python).
- Experience with AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
- Knowledge of REST APIs, microservices, and scalable backend systems.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows, CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven ability to lead and scale engineering teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred
- Prior experience in e-commerce or high-traffic B2C platforms.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment.
