Job Title : Java Engineering Lead - Technical Architect

We at Coforge are looking for an experienced Java Engineering Lead – Technical Architect who can lead architecture, design, and development of scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving technical decisions, mentoring teams, and delivering high‑quality solutions in an agile environment.

• Lead architecture, design, and development of enterprise‑grade applications using Java and modern frameworks
• Define and enforce coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams
• Design and implement scalable, high‑performance microservices‑based architectures
• Collaborate with product owners, business stakeholders, and cross‑functional teams
• Drive cloud‑native application development and modernization initiatives
• Participate in technical reviews, solution planning, and estimation activities
• Ensure application security, performance optimization, and reliability

• Strong hands‑on experience as a Java Technical Architect / Engineering Lead
• Java, Spring Boot, Microservices architecture
• Frontend exposure with Angular or React
• Experience with Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP preferred)
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, design patterns, and system integration
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and leadership skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field
• 12–18 years of overall IT experience with proven expertise in Java‑based architectures
