Responsibilities
- The intern will be part of a sub-team within the Remote Technical Support team, supporting the service structure and serviceability of Power Server hardware products.
- Assist in designing and executing productivity tools and aids required for the support infrastructure.
- Gain hands-on experience with the technical complexity of Power Server machines and understand customer expectations from support.
- Collaborate with team members to improve processes, tools, and documentation related to hardware support.
- Apply fundamental engineering knowledge to troubleshoot hardware issues and assist in technical tasks.
Eligibility
- Passion for a career in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
- Fundamental education in software design and/or testing
- Knowledge of Computer Architecture
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Assembly
- Strong debugging skills
- Scripting knowledge in Python, JavaScript, Perl, Bash, etc.
