Key Responsibilities
- Should have Experience of 5 to 10 years in the area of Maintenance, trouble shooting, Preventive, Condition Monitoring on Non-Woven textile production lines
- Should have some experience in handling amp; execution of projects, Installation and Commissioning of equipment
- Should have Preventive amp; Breakdown maintenance experience of Carding Machines, Cross lapper, high speed multi-needle punching machines, ovens, guillotine cutters, winders, lamination equipment.
- Should have experience of Press machines, Hydraulic systems, Pneumatic systems, Gas fired Oil heating systems (Thermopack) Preventive amp; Breakdown maintenance.
- Preventive maintenance of the Machinery including Electrical, Utility equipment's likes Diesel Generator, Fork lift, Air Compressor, Water/Chiller Plant etc.
- Should have experience of powder handling equipment like Screw/Belt conveyors, Blowers, Weigh feeders etc.
- Should have experience of material handling and conveying equipment like lifts, pick amp; place, conveyors
- Should be able communicate amp; get the work done from workmen
- Should be able utilize all the resources in efficient manner
- Should be conversant with the maintenance software, production / shop floor systems, relevant ERP or similar systems
- Active participation amp; provide support for plant amp; reliability improvement initiatives amp; projects
- Work towards improving plant reliability, efficiency, lower costs and improve product quality
- Stretching maintenance team by creating a learning, problem solving, improvement oriented environment / culture
- Resolving workflow bottle necks, work on low cost automation projects, set machine standards to achieve maximum productivity and reduce downtime
- Co-ordinating amp; Working cross-functionally with other plant teams like production, supply chain, quality and other stakeholders to improve overall manufacturing process, quality, cost control and productivity.
- Maintaining and documenting preventive and breakdown maintenance records, part changes and keeping track of the same
- Being instrumental in training and educating teams for proper equipment operating procedures, defined processes and as per manufacturing guidelines to achieve quality and lower rejections
Skills
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Troubleshooting of Continuously running Plant amp; Machinery used in PET fiber board/Waddings etc.
- Project Management, team handling
- Should have exposure to shop floor improvement projects to increase Productivity, Output, Safety, Ease of handling etc.
- Good Analytical amp; Communication Skills- Written and Oral,
- Should be conversant with Preventive Maintenance SOPs, Documentation, Visual SOPs amp; modern practices across industries
- Adequate knowledge of Plant amp; Machinery he is exposed to in the current company
- Should be able communicate amp; motivate the team for production amp; plant improvement activities
- Exposure to the WCM / TPM / Six Sigma / Equivalent System for Plant improvement
- Should be conversant with ISO / OHSAS amp; similar systems
- Should have good knowledge of Computers using Excel, Word, PowerPoint amp; any ERP related to his company

- Ability to handle pressure amp; deliver in demanding situation
Qualification And Experience
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering from reputed University
- Should have Experience of 5 to 10 years in the area of Mechanical Maintenance amp; Engg. Projects
- Local or should be ready to relocate near Factory / Umbergaon / Vapi
Salary would be in line with the experience
