Job Description

What You'll Do

Responsible for managing Supplier Change Requests (SCR) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) for internal and external suppliers across Electrical Sector Americas sites. Ensures timely approvals, effective change management, and supplier quality compliance through crossfunctional collaboration, datadriven problem solving, and continuous improvement to enable defectfree product supply.

1. Drive SCR and PPAP processes for internal and external suppliers, ensuring timely approval, closure, and compliance with organizational and customer requirements.

  • Act as regional SPOC for critical SCR, PPAP, NPI, and changemanagement programs involving multiple sites and customers.
  • Identify, investigate, and resolve supplier technical, quality, and system issues impacting product or process realization, including change management and correlation challenges.
  • Analyze supplier performance and issues using statistical and analytical tools to enable targeted corrective and preventive actions.
  • Strengthen CAR/CAPA processes, improve operational efficiency, and drive ontime, flawless closures through structured problem solving.
  • Coordinate effectively between suppliers and crossfunctional teams (Engineering, SQE, SDE, SCM, CM, Operations, Manufacturing Plants) to clarify requirements and eliminate execution gaps.
  • Lead and support PPAP onboarding and compliance for new suppliers and acquired sites through training, guidance, and handson system expertise.
  • Perform quality governance and reviews of SCR and PPAP submissions to ensure adherence to Eatonspecific and customer requirements.
  • Monitor, analyze, and communicate supplier performance metrics and SCR/PPAP status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Global Sourcing, APQP, EIIC, QPM, P&E, and OFG teams to ensure seamless execution of supplier quality initiatives and projects.
  • Support data analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier quality performance and support business growth.
  • Anticipate customer requirements, respond to adhoc requests with quick turnaround, and deliver customercentric, valuedriven solutions.

Qualifications


BE in (Electrical & Electronics/Mechanical/Production/ Industrial Engineering)

1.Minimum 610 years of experience in Supplier Development and Quality and Manufacturing / or Process Engineering

Skills

Experience in working with global customers & suppliers.

Knowledge of problem solving tools, CI tools (Six Sigma,Kaizen&A3), APQP, PPAP, Core Tools ,GD&T and AIAG.

Working knowledge on Supplier change management(Process& Systems),statistical tools including SPC, Gauge R&R and manufacturing processes such as Electrical and Electronic components(PCBA's and transformers is preferred)/Molding/Precision machining/Casting /Forging /Stamping is preferred as per sequence.

Knowledge on supplier special processes like Heat treatment,Coating and plating will be an added advantage
