Job Description

As a member of QCTs Modem LTE Customer Engineering group, candidate will be responsible for supporting Modem softwares protocols/features, in LTE area
Job responsibilities include system level feature understanding with specialized knowledge in LTE Access Stratum protocol, issue log analysis, troubleshooting/analyzing problems, supporting customers with product commercialization
Candidate will be working with a multi-discipline team (Software Development, System Design, Customer Support, System Team, Product Management to integrate and commercialize QCT products

Job Description :

2-6 years of excellent experience in one or more of following areas: Strong understanding of RRC, RLC/MAC, Physical layers and Call Processing concepts in one or more of the following air interface standards LTE/LTE-A, NTN, LTE-Cat M, LTE-NB. Hands-on experience in analyzing and debugging device side logs.
Solid understanding of digital communications systems, RF propagation, CDMA, OFDM, telecommunications concepts.
Strong programming in C language, embedded SW development, Perl, shell scripting, etc is desired.
Exposure to mobile product commercialization is a plus.
Successful candidate must have strong communication skills, must be an effective team player, and be able to work independently.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
OR
Masters degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.
1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
