Key Responsibilities for this position
Create 3D models, assemblies, and drawings in CAD software (Solid Edge/AutoCAD)
Manage CAD data in PLM and prepare engineering specification sheets
Responsible Bill of Material creation and modification and work on design change requests
Adherence to quality processes. On time delivery & Quality of the deliverables
Interact with other team members and provide assistance to them in various design activities
Prepare presentations for technical communication with global counterparts
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes like Casting/Machining.
Assist in Lab/shop activities.
Desired Educational Qualification
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Metallurgy, Instrumentation
- Technical Knowledge on Actuation Technologies Product- Pneumatics & Hydraulics
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in CAD Design environment.
Technical Skills / Knowledge Required
Experience 3D modelling of Casting and Machining components.
Basic understanding of Gears design and calculations
Understanding of FEA analysis
Software skills: Solid Edge, AutoCAD, Teamcenter/PLM
Good Knowledge of GD&T / DFMA
