Overview
To ensure the Safety and Performance objectives set out by Saint Gobain Gyproc are achieved, with the key focus on Yield, Cost and Capacity. This is done by strong leadership and coaching of shifts of Production Associate /Junior Engineer Production team members.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Yield performance Critical in achievement of this performance measure.
- Availability performance Sr. Engineer will support the Engineering team through Autonomous Maintenance Sustain activities of the Production Operators.
- Cost Process control through efficient energy use and raw material consumption.
- Safety, Welfare and Morale Essential in maintaining these elements within the Operators.
- Promote and ensure the health, safety and welfare of all Production Associates, other employees, contractors and visitors.
- Coordinate and ensure implementation of all activities of production functions.
- Drive production activities daily, and work closely with Production Associates and Process Engineering/Engineering team members.
- Establish a high level of discipline, and sustain this within the Operations team.
- Effectively utilise existing information, and seek out new information from other plants, in order to continuously improve plant performance.
- Manage and control all production related costs through BOM, budget and variance analysis.
