RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Plan, coordinate, and manage the design and execution of HVAC (Mechanical) , Electrical , and Plumbing systems.
- Review and approve MEP designs, shop drawings, and technical submissions from consultants and contractors.
- Ensure alignment of MEP services with architectural and structural designs for smooth project delivery.
- Oversee on-site execution, inspect MEP installations, and ensure work is as per standards and project schedule.
- Monitor contractor activities and ensure adherence to quality, safety, and statutory norms.
- Conduct site inspections, testing & commissioning of MEP systems before handover.
- Coordinate utility connections, load calculations, pump sizing, duct layouts, electrical load distribution, and water supply/drainage systems.
- Handle BOQ verification, material approvals, and support in billing/certification processes.
Requirements Skills & Competencies:
- Deep technical knowledge in HVAC, electrical circuits, plumbing layouts, drainage & firefighting systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Excel, and project scheduling tools.
- Familiarity with industry codes like IS/NBC, ASHRAE, NFPA, IPC, and local building norms.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail, quality-focused, and deadline-oriented.
Preferred Background:
- Hands-on experience with real estate or infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to green building systems (LEED/IGBC) is a plus.
- Knowledge of cost estimation, vendor management, and material procurement.
