Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Engineer - Process Engineering in Coimbatore, India.
What a typical day looks like:
- To generate the Plastics manufacturing process work instructions.
- To prepare detractors / Product Failure root cause analysis report for tool room / Process.
- To participate the improvement Initiatives.
- Handling TML report.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Review processing methods.
- Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer.
- Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer.
- Provide equipment maintenance and repair hold up as required.
- Guide cost improvement/reduction programs
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree ECE / EEE / Mechanical with 3 - 5 years of experience in plastic / manufacturing industry preferably in EMS Industry.
- Perform DFM for injection molds.
- Analysis of the plastic parts & Moldflow simulation tool
- Experience in Tool Design of injection molds.
- Experience in Root cause analysis of injection molds.
- In depth knowledge in tool design using Solidworks / NX (Unigraphics)
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing perform 8Ds, 5 Whys
- Knowledge of MS office and MS outlook
- Knowledge in Solidworks/ Autocad
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and quality methodologies
- Ability to do statistical analysis
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to collect, organize and analyse data from various sources.
- Knowledge of the Baan system
- Knowledge of Office suites
- Excellent written and oral communication skills MANDATORY.
- Good analytical skills.
- Should be open for shifts.
