As an Electromechanical Engineer, you will be responsible to design, develop & maintain systems that integrate electrical & mechanical components for Railway Safe Energy products based on inputs provided by global engineers or customers.
You will develop engineering drawings that fulfil technical objectives consistent with established guidelines, customer requirements, and design specifications.
You will work closely with other engineers, such as electrical, hardware and software engineers, to coordinate and complete projects by meeting or exceeding the design aspects.
You will also design sheet metal and machined parts using Creo software.
Your product design will be based on design for manufacture/design for assembly.
You will recommend alternative product, and system designs as required and initiate Engineering Change Orders per procedures.
You will be expected to deliver on time while doing it right the first time and every time.
Good English language communication skill is a must.
Key responsibilities:
Collaborate with global engineering teams to design & develop systems that integrate electrical & mechanical components for Railway Safe Energy products.
Creating technical concepts based on design requirements.
Create 2D drawings per ISO standards & GD&T and 3D CAD models using Creo & manage data in Windchill.
Perform basic calculation for durability, understand material properties and manufacturing processes.
