Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Java Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our dynamic team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and be passionate about building scalable applications in the cloud.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize applications for maximum performance and scalability.
  • Implement and manage cloud-based services and solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure the reliability and security of applications in the cloud environment.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-10 years of experience in software development with Java.
  • Strong understanding of GCP services, including Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, and BigQuery.
  • Proficient in cloud architecture and design principles.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
