Engineer Intern

Role Description

This Engineer Intern role is an on-site/offline position in Chennai. The intern will work with the R&D team on a next-generation communication device, supporting embedded hardware bring-up and firmware development, prototype testing, troubleshooting, and basic performance measurements (latency, audio quality, link reliability, and power).

Qualifications

• Proficiency in embedded coding (C/C++ preferred) and strong fundamentals in MCU/SoC systems
• Knowledge of Signal & audio/DSP basics (sampling, filters, noise suppression concepts)
• Familiarity with wireless/mesh networking concepts (e.g., BLE Mesh / 802.15.4 / LoRa / Wi-Fi ad-hocany is a plus)
• Understanding of testing methodologies and data analysis (latency, SNR, packet loss, power)
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in ECE/EEE/CS/Embedded/Mechatronics (or related field)
• Hands-on experience (projects/internships) in embedded systems, RF/communications, audio processing, or networking is a plus
