Are you looking to use your mechanical design engineering skills to help develop aerospace filtration products to meet critical customer needs The Engineer I - Aerospace is responsible for creating mechanical design models and drawings and performing mechanical design engineering activities, while ensuring designs meet customer specifications and are safe, reliable, and easy to manufacture.

This position is part of Pall's Global Aerospace Engineering team and will be located in Pune, Maharashtra, India.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

  • Work as part of a cross-functional team, designing and detailing products while ensuring safety and functionality are met in accordance with the customer requirements and current legislation
  • Create and modify Aerospace CAD drawings and models in CATIA.
  • Assist in identifying areas for improvement in processes and products. Learn about continuous improvement and VAVE principles, applying basic concepts under guidance.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

  • B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical or Aerospace or Industrial or equivalent) with 2-3 yrs experience in the relevant technical areas and industry.
  • Understanding of fundamental mechanical design principles relating to aircraft air and fluid systems, with a focus on component-level design tasks within the broader system.
  • General understanding of international engineering drawings (BS8888 / ASME Y14.5 or equivalent global standard).
  • Familiarity with basic mechanical design principles. Ability to create and modify CAD drawings and models under supervision.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • Exposure to manufacturing processes such as welding, machining, forming, moulding/casting, and sealing mechanisms.
  • Integrating manufacturing requirements into design tasks to ensure feasibility.
