Data Analytics Engineer
Reports to
Manager, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence
Summary/Objective
Develops dashboards and reports that help in the decision-making process. Contributes to process improvement, in innovation, logistics and/or production, aligned with defined quality guidelines.

- Study, analyze and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence while working with different business areas to design and develop data visualization solutions for decision-making.
- Design and map multidimensional data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights.
- Responsible for the design/development of the dashboard and reports.
- Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports.
- Analyze pervious and present data for better decision making. Identify and map opportunities for automation and/or digital solutions.
- Transform business requirements into technical publications.
- Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models.
- Support strategic business projects and SCRUM agile business initiatives.
- Working as an internal specialist to support business end-users and participate in the resolution of production problems related to the Microsoft Power BI platform and technologies.
- Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies.
- Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
- Must understand, support, and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.
Skills and Competencies
- Expert in Data Analytics and Dashboarding
- Advanced Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and database skills
- Familiar with ETL techniques like MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Snowflake
- Advanced Excel knowledge
- Understanding of business processes and operational KPIs
- Ability to analyze, design and maintain new and old functions / features in Reports / Dashboards.
- Knowledge of SAP a plus
- Professional certificates (e.g., Data Science, Data Analyst) a plus
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
The employee will be required to perform duties on a computer terminal. The employee may be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc.

Required Education And Experience
Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, or related discipline
Work Experience: 2+ Years of Relevant Experience
- Experience with Data extraction, Data modeling and Data Visualization
- Experience with software development and database design.
- Experience in working with agile development teams
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams
- Key Figures (e.g. KPI): Supplier Delivery Reliability, Customer Delivery, Performance, Inventory Turnrate.
