Job Description

JOBRESPONSIBILITY:- ( Roll Shop)

  • Checking stand change, pass change and guide change scheduling.
  • Complete knowledge of stand assembling, chock assembling and guide box assembling.
  • Guide shop management.
  • Responsible for Mechanical Maintenance of complete stand housing, cassettes, guide boxes.
  • Including maintenance planning, spares planning minimize downtime & inventory cost, preventive, predictive and shutdown maintenance.
  • Ensuring availability of critical spares.
  • Roll Shop Management.
  • Rolling planning for different sections and their equipments.
  • Daily roll pass tonnage record updating.
  • Dressing and undressed rolls record.
