Job Description
The Engineer-calibration Motorcycle is responsible for H-D motorcycle calibration activities as per approved
model strategy with focus on implementation of relevant technologies and ensures delivery within CTQ
parameters.
He is also responsible for implementation of technologies and calibration strategies on the relevant projects.
He also ensures correct data generation and prepares test results and accordingly decides next calibration
steps with collaboration with expert calibration lead engineers.
This role holder also understands the working principles of calibration and should have hands-on experience
of calibration of 2wh application. He should work in a team and share information and results transparently
- Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of basic system integration checks to final drivable calibration release for Motorcycle
- Understanding of steady state testbed maps and merging it for start of vehicle calibration.
- Execute all H-D motorcycle related calibration tasks at highest quality and expertise
- Creation of DOE and execute H-D motorcycle calibration and optimization (performance,
acceleration, ride mode emissions, fuel consumption)
- Execution of all calibration projects by means of implementation of relevant Strategies.
- Support building calibration guidelines / processes based on requirements.
- Resolving technical issues encountered during vehicle calibration
- Creation of testing and calibration reports
- Execution of EOBD, Drivability, evaporative and Functions calibration
- RCA & 8D
- Data generation, compilation and sharing of test data as per project Gate (PDX) requirement.

- Vehicle benchmarking, data generation and data analysis, report preparation and sharing it with
MLH, as per project need
- Support to various documentations preparation, its Revision, defining SOPs etc.

- Proven record of work on optimization tools like CAMEO, CONCERTO
etc.
