Job Description

The TechOps Engineer will play a key role in supporting and improving Simplilearn's internal systems, with a primary focus on HubSpot CRM, Order Management Systems (e.g., Ordeway), and SaaS-based LMS platforms such as Canvas. The role demands hands-on experience with system integration, scripting, and automation to optimize workflows across Sales, Finance, LMS, and Product functions.

You will be responsible for building and maintaining reliable integrations between platforms, resolving data flow issues, and helping various teams automate and streamline business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain CRM [ Ex: HubSpot , Salesforce ] with customized workflows, properties, and automation.
  • Administer and support Ordeway or equivalent order management/billing platforms.
  • Debug existing CRM, LMS (Canvas or similar) to ensure seamless data flow.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve sync errors, API failures, and cross-system data issues.
  • Build and maintain middleware scripts or low-code automation workflows across platforms.
  • Collaborate with SalesOps, Finance, Engineering, and Product teams to address tech operations needs.
  • Maintain clear documentation of all system integrations, workflows, and standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure data integrity, perform regular audits, and establish monitoring for critical processes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve operational efficiency.

Experience Required

  • 3–6 years of experience in TechOps, Business Systems, or CRM/ERP support roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience in HubSpot CRM configuration and automation.
  • Experience with Ordeway or any modern order management/billing system.
  • Working knowledge of Canvas or similar SaaS-based Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Proven experience integrating third-party applications using REST APIs and webhooks.
  • Familiarity with automation tools like Zapier or custom workflow scripts.

  • Scripting: JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, or Python for internal tool scripting or middleware.
  • Automation Platforms: Zapier, Workato, Make (Integromat), Tray.io, or custom integration tools.
  • Data Ops: SQL, data reconciliation, log debugging, and error resolution.
  • DevOps/Tools: Postman, Jira, GitHub, Slack, Google Workspace (Sheets, Apps Script).
