About Position:

We are seeking a strategic and commercially driven Engagement Manager to support growth initiatives within a Private Equity-backed environment. This role sits at the intersection of Sales, Advisory, Portfolio Company leadership, and internal operations teams, ensuring seamless coordination across complex opportunities and value-creation initiatives. The Engagement Manager will play a critical role in managing sales opportunities, supporting advisory engagements, aligning partner and portfolio company needs, and driving operational rigor across internal teams. This individual must be comfortable operating at both executive and working levels, capable of leading strategic conversations with PE sponsors and portfolio executives while innovating to solve complex business challenges. This is a mid- to senior-level role requiring strong commercial acumen, executive presence, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in high-growth, performance-driven environments.

What You'll Do:

  • Support business development and advisory initiatives aligned to PE value creation strategies.
  • Coordinate efforts across portfolio company stakeholders, operating partners, and internal advisory teams.
  • Help shape engagement strategies that align with sponsor investment theses and growth objectives.
  • Facilitate executive-level discussions and working sessions to drive alignment and outcomes.
  • Sales & Opportunity Management
  • Partner with Sales and Advisory leaders to manage complex deal cycles involving PE firms and portfolio companies
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver proposals, pricing models, statements of work, and financial analyses
  • Ensure commercial structures support both revenue growth and margin objectives
  • Identify risks within deal structures and proactively mitigate obstacles to close
  • Help support and update sales forecasts based on opportunities engaged
  • Cross-Functional Orchestration
  • Align Sales, Presales, Finance, Talent and Sales Operations to support opportunity advancement and execution readiness
  • Coordinate internal reviews related to pricing, financial modeling, contract terms, and risk assessment
  • Maintain pipeline visibility and contribute to accurate forecasting
  • Ensure compliance with governance standards while maintaining deal velocity
  • Help create standards across the business to enable growth and deal acceleration
  • Value Creation & Growth Enablement
  • Support scalable engagement models for advisory and transformation initiatives across portfolio companies
  • Identify opportunities to optimize internal processes that accelerate growth and enhance client experience
  • Provide insights on performance metrics, revenue realization, and margin improvement
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives focused on EBITDA expansion and operational efficiency

Expertise You'll Bring:

  • 8 to 12+ years of experience in engagement management, consulting, advisory services, sales operations, or private equity-related environments
  • Experience working with private equity firms, portfolio companies, or sponsor-backed businesses strongly preferred
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including pricing models, margin management, and deal structuring
  • Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, performance-driven environments
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives with multiple senior stakeholders
