Job Title: Energy Auditor / Energy Engineer
Experience: 03 years | Location: On-site | Priority: High | Joining: Immediate
Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Energy Auditor / Energy Engineer to conduct end-to-end
building energy audits, establish energy baselines, deploy our energy-saving technologies, and
verify actual savings through real-world measurements. This is a high-impact, field-intensive
role where your analysis directly drives energy cost reduction and sustainability outcomes for
our clients.
Key Responsibilities
1. Building Energy Auditing
Conduct walkthrough and detailed energy audits for commercial, industrial, and
institutional buildings.
Evaluate HVAC, chiller plants, lighting, motors, pumps, building envelope, and energy
distribution systems.
Identify energy inefficiencies, performance gaps, operational issues, and improvement
opportunities.
Perform field measurements using power meters, flow meters, lux meters, infrared
thermography, and temperature/humidity loggers.
2. Baseline Energy Mapping & Analytics
Develop baseline energy models using historical utility data, equipment ratings, and
operating schedules.
Map energy flows across major loads (HVAC, pumps, lighting, compressors, process
equipment).
Use statistical/analytical methods to correlate consumption with load factors,
occupancy, climate, and schedules.
Prepare detailed baseline charts, Sankey diagrams, and load curves.
3. Deployment of Energy-Saving Technologies
Install, calibrate, and validate our energy-efficiency product in HVAC or building
systems.
Coordinate with facility teams for safe installation, commissioning, and operational
readiness.
Monitor system performance before and after deployment.
Troubleshoot integration, performance issues, and deviations.
4. Measurement, Verification & Actual Savings
Use real-time sensors, loggers, and meters to measure:
Power consumption
HVAC parameters
Temperature/humidity
Chiller/COP metrics
Operating hours
Apply IPMVP protocols (Option A/B/C) to quantify actual savings.
Compare baseline vs. post-deployment performance to show verified improvements.
Generate clear M&V reports for internal and client approvals.
5. Documentation & Reporting
Prepare audit reports, baseline documentation, system maps, and savings summaries.
Compile equipment inventory, load lists, site measurements, photos, and findings.
Present energy-saving proposals with ROI, payback, and cost-benefit analysis.
Maintain accurate records for compliance and future benchmarking.
Qualifications & Skills
Education:
B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Mechatronics, or related
fields.
Certified Energy Auditor (BEE) preferred strong advantage.
Technical Skills
Solid understanding of:
HVAC systems, chillers, pumps, and air-handling units
Electrical systems, power factor, demand, and harmonics
Building management systems (BMS)
Thermal efficiency, heat transfer, and fluid mechanics
Hands-on skills with measurement tools:
