Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for an Endoscopy Technician located at Woodlands Multispeciality Hospital in Kolkata. The Endoscopy Technician will assist healthcare professionals in performing endoscopic procedures, prepare and maintain endoscopy equipment, ensure proper sterilization practices, and provide support to the medical team during procedures. Additional responsibilities include patient preparation, monitoring during procedures, and documentation of patient information.
Qualifications
- Familiarity and experience with Endoscopy procedures and equipment
- Expertise in Sterilization techniques and Surgical Technology
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting and basic Medical protocols
- Understanding of Medicine and medical terminology
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, clinical environment
- Relevant certifications in endoscopic or surgical technology are a plus
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
