Job Title: End User Support (EUS)
Location: Kolkata

Department: IT Support / Infrastructure
Role Overview
We are looking for a proactive End User Support (EUS) Executive to provide technical assistance for hardware, networking, and basic IT infrastructure. The candidate should also possess working knowledge of MS Excel for MIS reporting and data management.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware & Desktop Support
Installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktops, laptops, and peripherals
Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues efficiently
Setup and maintenance of printers, biometric devices, and other IT equipment
Perform OS installation, updates, and software deployment
(Aligned with candidate's hands-on desktop support experience across Lenovo, HP & enterprise environments )
Networking Support
Basic LAN troubleshooting and connectivity issue resolution
IP configuration, DNS settings, and network device setup
Monitor and support network components (routers, switches)
Assist in firewall checks and system security updates
(Derived from candidate's networking/IP configuration and server setup exposure )
MIS & Excel Reporting
Maintain daily/weekly MIS reports using MS Excel
Prepare reports on incidents, tickets, and system performance
Use Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas) for data analysis
Maintain IT asset records and inventory tracking
User Support & Service Desk
Provide L1 support to end users via calls, emails, or desk visits
Log, track, and resolve tickets within SLA timelines
Coordinate with higher-level support teams for complex issues
Ensure high user satisfaction and timely resolution
System & Infrastructure Support
Ensure proper system configuration and compliance
Support basic server/client setup where required
Assist in system audits and IT documentation
Required Skills
Basic knowledge of Hardware & Networking
Familiarity with Windows OS, system configuration, and troubleshooting
Working knowledge of MS Excel (MIS reporting)
Understanding of IP addressing, LAN setup, and connectivity issues
Good communication and problem-solving skills
Educational Qualification
Graduate (BCA / B.Sc IT / Diploma in Hardware & Networking preferred)
Preferred Candidate Profile
Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience in IT Support / Desktop Support
Exposure to enterprise IT environments or field support is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple issues
