Job Description

EMR/EHR Implementation Specialist (AI Training)

About The Role

At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research teams and labs to build and train cutting-edge AI models. We're looking for experienced EMR/EHR Implementation Specialists to help us develop AI that truly understands clinical systems, healthcare workflows, and digital health infrastructure.

Your real-world expertise with platforms like Epic and Cerner is exactly what's needed to evaluate, validate, and improve how AI reasons about healthcare technology. This is a unique opportunity to apply your domain knowledge in a new and impactful way — without leaving the comfort of your home.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated content related to EMR/EHR systems, clinical workflows, and healthcare IT configurations
  • Apply your hands-on knowledge of Epic, Cerner, or similar platforms to assess accuracy and real-world validity
  • Identify gaps, errors, or unrealistic outputs in AI responses related to system implementation and optimization
  • Provide structured, expert feedback that helps AI better understand complex healthcare technology scenarios
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Experienced with EMR/EHR implementation, configuration, or optimization — particularly Epic or Cerner
  • Strong understanding of clinical and administrative healthcare workflows
  • Able to identify when AI-generated healthcare IT content is accurate, incomplete, or misleading
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to deliver clear, structured written feedback
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote setting

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, data quality, or AI evaluation workflows
  • Background in health informatics, clinical operations, or healthcare IT consulting
  • Familiarity with interoperability standards such as HL7 or FHIR

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside top research labs and teams
  • Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, as much or as little as you want
  • Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration
  • Contribute to meaningful work that shapes how AI understands and supports the healthcare system
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
