Role Description
This is for Empanelment of Rural Field Surveyors in WASH, based anywhere in India, with flexibility for remote work. The role involves conducting field surveys to assess WASH service needs in rural areas, collecting and analyzing data related to water, sanitation, and hygiene practices, and engaging with local communities to identify challenges and co-develop sustainable solutions. The surveyors will work closely with diverse stakeholders, document findings, and prepare comprehensive reports to aid in project planning and execution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with rural communities and stakeholders
- Understanding of concepts related to water, sanitation, hygiene (WASH), and sustainable practices
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with adaptability to hybrid work environments
- Problem-solving skills to address challenges in diverse and resource-constrained settings
- A bachelor's degree in environmental science, social work, sustainability, or a related field is preferred
- Prior experience in community engagement, fieldwork, or WASH-related projects is an advantage
