About the Role:
An established blue-chip apparel manufacturer, recognized for its craftsmanship and innovation in premium traditional menswear, is seeking an experienced Embroidery Technical Specialist to enhance its embroidery operations through technology-driven process improvements.
This role requires a technically skilled embroidery expert who can digitize design processes, optimize production quality, and elevate embroidery craftsmanship through modern automation and R&D.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage embroidery machine operations, ensuring efficiency and precision.
- Digitize and develop embroidery designs using leading software and equipment.
- Lead R&D initiatives to automate embroidery patterning and maintain quality consistency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to embroidery machines and software.
- Train operators in modern embroidery techniques, machine handling, and digital workflows.
- Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure seamless design-to-machine integration.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with embroidery machines (Tajima, Barudan, or similar).
- Proficiency in digitizing/punching software for embroidery design.
- In-depth understanding of the design-to-machine process and software integration.
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain embroidery machines for optimal performance.
- Proven ability to train and mentor embroidery operators and technicians.
