Job Description

  • Legacy Software Responsibilities: Specify, analyze, and extract software requirements from existing documentation and systems, Analyze legacy source code and develop new features to enhance existing functionality
  • Legacy Software Responsibilities: Participate in the creation of test plans, conduct application-level testing, and verify software modules, Draft or update technical documentation to reflect software changes and ensure traceability
  • AUTOSAR & Model-Based Design Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document software and system-level requirements related to core tractor functions, Collaborate with system engineers to define software interfaces and interactions between vehicle control units and other ECUs
  • AUTOSAR & Model-Based Design Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with AUTOSAR standards and industry best practices in software architecture and module development, Implement and validate software components using model-based design and auto-coding techniques (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink)
  • AUTOSAR & Model-Based Design Responsibilities: Configure and integrate AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) and Runtime Environment (RTE) using tools such as Vector PREEvision, DaVinci,Geny, Tresos.

Your Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Signal Processing, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in automotive or off-highway embedded software development
  • Strong proficiency in C programming with at least 3 years of experience in system-level software design, Hands-on experience with Model-Based Software Development (MBSD), including MATLAB tools and code generation
  • Practical experience in AUTOSAR-based software development
  • Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and continuous integration (CI) tools, Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including unit and instrumentation testing
