Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

1. PerformLinux board bring-upon custom hardware platforms, including initialization and hardware validation.
2. Develop, configure, and debugbootloaders(e.g., U-Boot) for embedded systems.
3. Customize and maintain theLinux kernel, device trees, and low-level drivers for target hardware.
4. Work withBIOS/UEFI firmware, supporting hardware initialization and system boot processes.
5. Configure and troubleshootLinux file systems(e.g., ext4, squashfs, NFS) for embedded environments.
6. Program inC/C++to develop and optimize embedded applications, device drivers, and low-level utilities.
7. Analyze and resolve issues related tohardware-software integrationand performance optimization.
8. Collaborate with hardware, testing, and system architecture teams to ensure stable Linux deployments.
9. Utilize tools likeJTAG, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzersfor debugging and validation.
10. Maintain technical documentation, board bring-up guides, and contribute to knowledge-sharing.

Good to Have:

• Experience with64-bit Intel/ARM processorsorNVIDIA platforms (Jetson, etc.)
• Familiarity withhigh-speed interfaceslikePCIe, USB 3.x, HDMI, DisplayPort
• Exposure toYocto or Buildrootfor building custom Linux distributions
• Understanding ofRTOS integrationwith Linux systems
• Knowledge ofsecure bootandtrusted execution environments (TEE)
